Within its research and standardization projects Nomor Research has developed a comprehensive simulation environment supporting various standards (LTE, HSPA, WiMAX) with different level of detail.

Static link level simulations
•    different transmitter and receiver chains incl. MIMO, ZF, MMSE

•    ODFMA and SC-FDMA processing chains
•    Turbo coding and interleaving etc.

Dynamic multi-cell, multi-user system level simulation
•    channel modeling with slow/fast fading, pathloss, user mobility
•    intra- and intercell interference modeling for OFDMA, SC-FDMA and WCDMA
•    various scheduling algorithms considering channel and buffer status, QoS etc.
•    advanced features as link adaptation, HARQ, power control, measurements

End-to-end protocol simulations
•    end-to-end protocol implementation including network interfaces
•    bit exact MAC, RLC (AM, UM, TM), PDCP layer implementation
•    Radio Resource Control with connection setup, state modeling etc  
•    different radio bearer and network configurations
