Senior DSP Integration & Optimization Engineer for LTE eNBs (I-12-26)

To strengthen our LTE protocol stack product development activities we are looking for an experienced development engineer for LTE eNB Layer 2/3 base station software on a DSP based hardware platform with emphasize on integration and optimization
You will be fully responsible to integrate, verify and optimize our software on customers target hardware and with partner’s software modules.
You will be responsible for defining and implementing requirements for hardware and operating system adaption layer.
You will be involved in analyzing data throughput with respective trace tools, compiling test results and generating test reports.
You will perform code optimizations for the respective platforms and the delivery of performance reports will be part of your tasks.
Furthermore you will guide and train our current development team on development of performance optimized embedded software.

Dipl.-Ing./MSc in Communications Engineering/Computer Science or similar
Minimum of 5 years of C/C++ based embedded development and/or integration experience of Layer 2/3 base station software
In-depth embedded software knowledge and DSP programming (e.g. TI DSP C4x,C6x with TI Code Composer Studio, PowerPC etc) as well as hands on experienced with real-time debugging tools (via JTAG) and profiling and optimization tools (e.g. Rational Purify, Valgrind etc.)
Experience with Real-time OS (SysBios, bareMetal, DSP Bios, Linux Host)
Software development tools(Eclipse, CCS, RVDS) and Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, CruiseControl)
Knowledge on LTE base station protocols and interfaces, related simulators/emulators, Layer 1/2 signalling, scheduler design, RRC and RRM algorithms
Languages: English is a must, German is a plus
